Chris earned a BS and MS in Mechanical Engineering from the New Jersey Institute of Technology. In 1999, he received the Outstanding Senior Award for the highest GPA in the graduating class. His research with the Granular Science Lab involved an experimental study of the dynamics of particle percolation. Chris also served as an engineer for: Lucent, doing FEA analysis to predict earthquake damage to equipment, and Oxford Superconductor as a cryogenic test engineer.  He is currently involved in a project to develop a flexible thermal ground plane.
